To celebrate the publication last year of F. X. Velarde, the co-author Dominic Wilkinson will give a talk about the architect in the Lutyens Crypt of the Metropolitan Cathedral.
The book brings together for the first time a comprehensive description of Velarde’s principal works. Among the churches that will be discussed are: St Monica’s, Bootle (1936); English Martyrs, Wallasey (1953); and St Luke’s, Pinner (1957).
Copies of the book will be available to purchase at a special price and Dominic Wilkinson will sign copies.
