The Cathedral Gift Shop

Shop Display The Cathedral Gift Shop, located witthin the Visitor Centre at the foot of the Cathedral steps, has a superb selection of inspirational gifts, books, cards, souvenirs and postcards.

Recent additions to the items available include a Metropolitan Cathedral pin badge, Liverpool branded pottery and a new range of crosses from local ceramicist Alayna Ellis. There is also a choice of books detailing various aspects of Liverpool’s history ranging from architecture to social aspects of the city’s past.

Seasonal gifts are stocked to reflect the church calendar. In addition to traditional Christmas decorations and Easter cards, you will find gifts for every occasion including Holy Communion, confirmation and notable days including St Patrick’s Day and Mothering Sunday.

INFORMATION

The Cathedral is normally opened from 8.00am to 6.00pm, but is closed at 5.00pm on Sundays in winter.

There is no charge for admission but a contribution to the upkeep of the building would be appreciated. A donation of £3 per person is suggested.

Guides are usually on duty to show you round and explain the mission of the Cathedral.

Photography is permitted in the Cathedral except during Services.
